Playing is one of the most vital things you can do with your kids since play is fundamental for their mental health. Play also helps to build a child’s confidence and enhances their social skills. Take a look at my list of 20 fun activity ideas you can do with your children.
1.Make puppets and put on a puppet show.
2.Make bubble pictures by adding food coloring to bubbles and blowing the bubbles on paper.
3.Make some homemade playdough with 2 cups of plain flour, 1 cup of salt, 1 tbs oil, 1 cup of water and two drops of food coloring.
4.Create a mini fairy garden by planting some flowers in a bucket and adding little trinkets to it and get the children to sprinkle some glitter over the garden then wait for the fairies to appear at night.

7.Make friendship bracelets or necklaces with some beads and wool.
8.Create a vegetable patch with the children, they will enjoy taking care of it and watching the vegetables grow and it will also encourage your children to eat their vegetables.
9.Put together a jigsaw puzzle together.
10.Make oobleck with 1 cup of cornstarch, a few drops of food coloring and 1/2 a cup of water.
11.Bake a cake or a batch of cookies.
12.Build an indoor tent with chairs and bed sheets.
13.Have a tea party and invite your child’s favorite toys to join.
14.Hold a movie night and make your own movie tickets and be sure to bring the popcorn!
15.Make pet rocks by decorating them with paint and googly eyes.
16.Make some crowns fit for a King or a Queen!
17.Create a scrapbook together, using some photos from family trips to the zoo or the beach.
18.Play your favorite board games.
19.Play ‘will it float?’ by having a container filled with water and collecting some household items then asking the children which items that they think will float and which they think would sink.
20.Make some shakers or maracas by filling a plastic egg with seed or rice then get shaking!
